Kannur: Mr Joseph Thekkel (Kochettan - 90), passed away due to age-related illness   at his residence in  Kacherikadavu, Iritti, Kannur . He was a hard working and well known farmer who settled in Malabar many years ago. Funeral will be held on Saturday (23-04-2022) at 2pm at St. George Church Cemetery,Kacherikadavu.

His late wife Mary was from Kurumpurath family.

Mr Joseph was the father of Sajimon Thekkel who is a member of the editorial board of CNews English section. Sajimon also serves  as the joint coordinator of CNews  Executive Committee of Oman.
